The Tour 5 days and 4 nights in Cusco, Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu and Humantay Lagoon tour is an unforgettable experience that combines the region’s rich history and culture with stunning natural landscapes. The trip begins in the charming city of Cusco, where participants have time to acclimatize to the altitude and explore the fascinating vestiges of the Inca civilization, including the famous Qoricancha temple and the Sacsayhuamán fortress. The tour then continues to the Sacred Valley, a picturesque region filled with fertile valleys, traditional villages, and well-preserved Inca ruins. Here, travelers visit sites such as Pisac, Ollantaytambo and Chinchero, immersing themselves in the history and culture of the region.
The next stop is the highlight of the trip: Machu Picchu. Accessible via a picturesque train ride and a short walk or bus, this ancient Inca citadel perched high in the Andes leaves visitors breathless with its magnificence and mystery. Travelers have time to explore this unique archaeological site, learn about its history, and enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding mountains.
Finally, the tour takes participants to Laguna Humantay, a natural gem hidden high in the Andes. Surrounded by snow-capped peaks and crystal clear waters, this lagoon offers a breathtaking spectacle and the opportunity to connect with nature in a calm and serene environment.
We will start our tour through the modern residential districts of Miraflores and San Isidro. We will visit the financial center, the Golf, El Olivar, the Huaca Pucllana (pre-Inca ceremonial temple in the shape of a pyramid) and the Parque del Amor on the Malecón de Miraflores.
Continuing with our tour, we will go to the Historic Center of Lima, we will visit the Plaza San Martín, balconies and old houses, as well as the Plaza Mayor with its most important buildings, to finally enter one of the most important convents of the 17th century. A complete tour, with the comfort and attention of a modern tourist service.
After breakfast at the hotel, we pick you up and take you to the Lima airport, there you will check your ticket and take the one-hour flight to the city of Cusco “Archaeological Capital of America”, there our staff will welcome you and transfer you to the hotel where we will have a coca mate After your lunch from 1:00 p.m. we will begin the guided tour that includes visiting the center of the ancient city of Cusco, the Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral, the Church of Santo Domingo, Temple of Qoricancha and the nearby ruins of Q’enqo, Puka Pukara, Tambomachay and the fortress of Sacsayhuaman, built with enormous rocks, until now the mobilization and use of these remains an enigma, due to the absence of stone quarries due to the zone.
After having a good breakfast, we will pick you up from the hotel and transfer to the Cusco train station to start the excursion to Machu Picchu, the Lost City of the Incas. Upon reaching the tourist town of Aguas Calientes, we will board the bus and in half an hour, we will arrive at the citadel of Machu Picchu. Then with our guide we will tour the Inca city between 2 to 3 hours. We will have time to go down to Aguas Calientes for lunch, in the afternoon we will take the train back to Cusco. Upon arrival, our staff will wait for you and take you to the hotel for the night.
You will be picked up at 08:00 a.m. to start the tour, making a stop at the Corao natural viewpoint, where the guide will give you an introduction to the Sacred Valley, and continue the tour enjoying a beautiful landscape. The first place to visit will be the traditional Indian market of Pisaq, here you will be able to do some shopping for souvenirs or handicrafts and then go up to the Archaeological Center of Pisaq, where after a short walk, you will reach the main Inca sites.
Continuing with the trip, they will go to the city of Urubamba where in an exclusive restaurant you will be able to taste the local gastronomy. In the afternoon, we will visit the fortress and citadel of Ollantaytambo, built to guard the entrance to this part of the valley and thus protect it from possible invasions by the inhabitants of the jungle. We will have the opportunity to walk through the streets of the town and thus have a clear idea of what this military, religious and cultural center was like during the Inca Empire. On the way back to Cusco, we will visit the picturesque town of Chinchero, where the remains of the royal estate of Tupac Inca Yupanqui are located. You will admire its well-preserved Inca wall in the main square and visit the beautiful colonial temple with interesting frescoes on the portico, built on the foundations of an Inca building.
Having a good breakfast, we will pick you up from the hotel and take you to the company’s bus station that will take us on a journey that lasts approximately 8 hours. We will have 4 excursions and guided visits to the places of tourist interest in the South Corridor of the Altiplano, visiting the Andahuaylillas temple also known as the Sistine Chapel of America, then we will visit the Inca Temple of Raqchi. At noon, in the city of Sicuani we will have a buffet lunch included in the tour. We will continue the tour arriving at the La Raya pass at 4335 masl and the Inca Aimara de Pucará museum. Each visit lasts from 20 to 40 minutes, where the passenger can ask questions, take photos and walk a bit, enjoying a pleasant excursion. Upon arrival in Puno our staff will wait for us and transfer us to the hotel where we will spend the night.
We will pick you up at the hotel, and then we will go to the Port of Puno (Lake Titicaca), where we will visit the Uros Floating Islands, for 45 minutes we will appreciate the customs of this beautiful island and its inhabitants. Very early after having breakfast at the hotel, we will pick you up from the hotel and transfer you to the Juliaca airport, which is one hour from Puno, there you will check in at the counter and then you will take the air flight to Lima. After having breakfast, we will go to the port of Paracas, where we will start the tour to the Ballestas Islands passing by “El Candelabro”, a gigantic image on the side of a hill. Upon arrival at the Ballestas Islands, you will visit the different islands for two hours, observing the different species of sea lions, seals, penguins and guano birds. After arriving at the port, we will take the tour to the Paracas reserve. In the afternoon we will go to the Paracas aerodrome and board the plane for a 90-minute flight over the Pampas de Nazca, where the ancient pre-Incas drew gigantic figures of animals and plants for an undiscovered purpose. Many believe that these figures were made by aliens. Among its most representative figures are the monkey, the spider and the hummingbird. Then at 7:30 p.m. we will return to the city of Lima, where we will arrive at approximately 12:00 a.m. Our staff will be waiting for you and will transfer you to the Lima airport or to your hotel.
