We will start our tour through the modern residential districts of Miraflores and San Isidro. We will visit the financial center, the Golf, El Olivar, the Huaca Pucllana (the pre-Inca ceremonial temple in the shape of a pyramid) and the Parque del Amor on the Malecón de Miraflores. Continuing with our tour, we will go to the Historic Center of Lima, we will visit the Plaza San Martín, its balconies and old houses, the Plaza Mayor with its most important buildings and finally we will enter one of the most important convents of the 17th century. After breakfast at the hotel, we will transfer you to the Lima airport, there you will check in and take the flight to the city of Cusco. Upon arrival at the airport, we will be waiting for you with a sign with your name, we will transfer you to the selected hotel, upon arrival at the hotel you can taste the famous coca tea, this plant has properties that will help your body against altitude sickness, then you can rest and acclimatize a little at the hotel or if you want to go for a gentle walk through the main streets of the city. At around 1:00 p.m., we will pick you up from the hotel to start the tour to the city of Cusco and its surroundings, this excursion includes a visit to: the Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral, Santo Domingo Church, Coricancha Temple and the ruins near Q’enqo, Puka Pukará, Tambomachay and the fortress of Sacsayhuaman. At 7:00 p.m.
We will pick you up from your hotel to take you to the train station to start the excursion to Machu Picchu. The average trip lasts 4 hours. Upon arrival at the station in the town of Aguas Calientes, our guide will be waiting for us, with him we will take the bus that will take us uphill for 30 minutes. to the lost city of the Incas. The excursion includes a guided tour of the Citadel, visiting the Main Square, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Solar Clock, The Royal Rooms, The Temple of the Three Windows and The Cemeteries, our tour will last approximately more than two hours. Then we will have time to go down to Aguas Calientes and have lunch, in the afternoon we will take the train back to Cusco. We pick you up between 8:00 a.m. and 8:20 a.m., the tour will begin with a stop at the natural viewpoint of Corao where the guide will give you an introduction to the Sacred Valley, continue the tour enjoying a beautiful landscape, the first place of visit will be the traditional Indian market of Pisaq here you can do some shopping for souvenirs or handicrafts, you will ascend to the Archaeological Center of Pisaq where after a short walk you will arrive at the main Inca sites. On the way back to Cusco we will visit the picturesque town of Chinchero, where the remains of the royal estate of Túpac Inca Yupanqui are located.
